DAT Spot Van Rates Increase Due To E-commerce Holiday Shopping
Average rates for the 100 largest van lanes increased by 2.3 percent the week after Thanksgiving, according to the DAT. Pricing increases for the outbound markets of Buffalo, Charlotte, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago and Columbus show the start to a busy peak van freight season. See more here.

After months of negotiations, United States’ President Donald Trump, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and outgoing President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto met at the Group of 20 Nations Summit in Buenos Aires, Argentina where they participated in the official signing ceremony of the United States Mexico Canada Agreement. S301 Tariff List 3 Will See Delays In Implementation Of 25 Percent Increase
On Saturday, December 1, 2018, United States President Donald Trump and China President Xi concluded a meeting that resulted in a 90-day truce between the United States and China. The United States agreed to leave Section 301 List 3 at 10 percent on January 1, 2019 and not raise tariffs to the proposed 25 percent. See more here.

Home Depot Finalizes 2-Day Delivery Plans For Parcel Shipping
Recently, Home Depot announced plans to reach 95 percent of the population in two days or fewer with parcel shipping. Home Depot is currently testing delivery fulfillment centers as part of its investment in improving its supply chain. See more here.
